  • The University of Nigeria, commonly referred to as UNN, is a federal university located at Nsukka, Enugu State, Eastern part of Nigeria.
  • It was founded in 1955 by Nnamdi Azikiwe, who was the Governor General of Nigeria between 1960 and 1963, and first President of Nigeria between 1963 and 1966.
  • The University of Nigeria Nsukka was formally opened on 7 October 1960. The University of Nigeria has four campuses: the Nsukka campus, the Enugu campus (UNEC), the teaching hospital, (UNTH Ituku-Ozalla) and the Aba campus in Abia State.
  • The University of Nigeria is the first full-fledged indigenous and first autonomous university in Nigeria, since Ibadan was still at that time a university college granting London degrees.
  • It was the first land-grant university in Africa and one of the five most reputed universities in Nigeria.
  • The university has 15 Faculties and 102 academic departments.
  • The university offers 108 undergraduate programs and 211 postgraduate programs.
  • Classes officially began on 17 October 1960 with an enrollment of 220 students and 13 members of the academic staff.

Candidates Eligible to Buy UNN Post UTME Screening Form

To qualify for the screening, candidates MUST meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates who have set their sights on UNN during the 2024 Universities Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have secured a score of 160 or above are eligible for this screening.
  • Moreover, UNN mandates that all aspirants seeking admission into any of its myriad courses should hold five ‘O’ level passes in their academic credentials.

How to Apply for UNN Post UTME Form

Step by step application:

  • Start by visiting the official UNN websitewww.unn.edu.ng. On the top right corner, you’ll find the UNN portal. Click on it.
  • Navigate to the Prospective Students section.
  • Choose Online Application Form for 2024/2025 Admission Screening Exercise.
  • Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
  • Generate an Invoice for payment.
  • Make your payment at a bank or simply use your ATM Card for an online transaction.
  • Once done, return to the portal and re-enter your JAMB Registration Number.
  • Fill in your Date of Birth and all the other necessary fields.
  • Furnish details of your O-Level Subjects and Grades. Don’t forget to add your Examination Centre and Number.
  • Verify the grades entered.
  • It’s time to upload the necessary certificates. Make sure each document size doesn’t exceed 100KB: Birth Certificate; Local Government Identification; Testimonial; First School Leaving Certificate
  • JAMB Result Slip; O-Level documents (Note: If you’ve appeared twice, provide both sets of documents.)
