  • October 7, 2024: First semester begins.
  • October 7, 2024 – October 25, 2024: Registration without penalty for three weeks.
  • October 7, 2024 – December 20, 2024: Lectures for all undergraduate and postgraduate students for eleven weeks.
  • October 21, 2024 – October 25, 2024: Orientation week for new students.
  • October 28, 2024 – November 8, 2024: Registration with penalty continues for two weeks.
  • December 23, 2024 – January 3, 2025: Christmas break for two weeks.
  • January 6, 2025 – January 10, 2025: Lectures continue for one final week to complete the semester.
  • January 13, 2025 – January 17, 2025: Revision week before exams.
  • January 20, 2025 – February 7, 2025: First semester examinations run for three weeks.
  • February 10, 2025 – February 21, 2025: Semester break for all students for two weeks.

Second Semester 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 Sessions

  • February 24, 2025: Second semester starts.
  • February 24, 2025 – March 14, 2025: Registration without penalty for three weeks.
  • March 17, 2025 – March 28, 2025: Late registration with penalty for two weeks.
  • February 24, 2025 – May 16, 2025: Lectures for twelve weeks.
  • May 19, 2025 – May 23, 2025: Student week takes place.
  • May 26, 2025 – May 30, 2025: Revision exercise for one week.
  • June 2, 2025 – June 20, 2025: Second semester examinations take place for three weeks.
  • June 23, 2025 – August 1, 2025: Long vacation for six weeks.
  • August 4, 2025: New academic session begins for 2024/2025 and 2025/2026.
