Extension Of 2024/2025 Post-UTME Online Application
The 2024/2025 University of Lagos Post-UTME application, which was earlier scheduled to hold from Monday, August 5, 2024 to Friday, August 23, 2024 is hereby extended by one week. Consequently, the application will now close on Friday, August 30, 2024. The procedure and fees for registration, as well as the dates for the conduct of the examination (2nd to 6th September, 2024) however, remain unchanged.
All eligible candidates who are yet to register are advised to utilise this extended period to perfect their registration.

- The University of Lagos, popularly known as UNILAG, is a public research university located in Lagos, Nigeria and was founded in 1962.
- UNILAG is one of the first generation universities in Nigeria and is ranked among the top universities in the country in major education publications.
- The university presently has three campuses in the mainland of Lagos. Whereas two of its campuses are located at Yaba (the main campus in Akoka and the recently created campus at the former school of radiography), it’s college of medicine is located at Idi-Araba, Surulere.
- Eni Njoku was appointed as the first black vice-chancellor of the university in 1962, and he remained in office till 1965 when he was replaced by Saburi Biobaku.
- On 29 May 2012, the then President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, proposed to rename the University of Lagos to Moshood Abiola University in honour of Moshood Abiola, who died in jail as a political prisoner in 1998. The proposed name change became a subject of protests from students and alumni.
- The proposal was consequently jettisoned as the Nigerian federal government gave in to the protests incited by the proposed name change.
- The current Chancellor of the institution is Alhaji (Dr.) Abubakar IBN Umar Garbai El-Kanemi, The Shehu of Borno.
- Prof. Folasade Ogunsola is the current vice chancellor, she was appointed on 7 October 2022 and assumed office on 12 November 2022.
- The University of Lagos is one of the twenty-five federal universities which are overseen and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

How Much is UNILAG Post UTME Form
The cost of the post utme form is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000).
Candidates Eligible to Buy UNILAG Post UTME Screening Form
To qualify for the screening, candidates MUST meet the following criteria:
- Candidates who made the University of Lagos their first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible for screening. In addition, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
- Only candidates who must have uploaded their O/Level results on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before the stated date provided by the institution will be considered for admission.
- Candidates, who will not be sixteen (16) years of age by 31st October, 2024 are not eligible and need not apply.
- Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME Screening will not be considered for admission.
- Former students of the University whose admissions were withdrawn on the basis of poor academic performance or absence status could re-apply on condition that the new admission shall be for a new programme/course different from the former programme/course.
- Any student expelled from the University cannot be offered fresh admission.
Cut-Off Mark
