The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has released the Admission List for the 2024/2025 academic session.
This list contains the names of candidates who excelled in the Post UTME screening exercise and have been offered provisional admission into various programmes.
If you participated in the Post UTME screening, you can now check your admission status.
How to Check UNICAL Admission List
To check your UNICAL admission status, visit the JAMB Admission Status Checking Portal and then follow these steps:
- Login to your JAMB profile with your username and password.
- Scroll down and click the Check Admission Status tab.
- Select your Exam year and enter your registration number in the required field.
- Click Check Admission Status to view your UNICAL admission status.
Alternatively, you can access your admission status through the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) by selecting Access my CAPS for additional admission-related services.
For Candidates Yet to Be Admitted
Candidates who are not yet admitted should note that admission is still ongoing.
It is essential to regularly check the JAMB portal and the UNICAL website for updates.
Steps After Admission
If you have been successfully admitted into UNICAL, you are advised to take the following steps:
- Log in to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to ACCEPT or REJECT your admission offer.
- After accepting the admission, print your JAMB Admission Letter.
- If you are offered a course different from the one you applied for, apply for a Change of Course on the JAMB portal.
