The Appointment of New Administrative Leaders at FUNAAB

His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, reaffirmed the university’s commitment to transparency and merit in its recruitment processes. The selection of these officials, initiated in 2023, faced delays due to a restructuring of the Governing Council. HRM Olabomi emphasized FUNAAB’s reputation as a center of excellence, urging all stakeholders to collaborate in advancing the university’s mission. Additionally, he commended the outgoing Acting Registrar, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Dawodu, for her dedication and significant contributions during her tenure.
Dr. Titus Adedeji Adeniyi has been appointed as the new Registrar, bringing with him a robust academic and professional pedigree. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and PhD in Demography and Social Statistics from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife. Before his current role, he excelled as the Director of Human Resources and Development at Osun State University (UNIOSUN). Dr. Adeniyi is an active member of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) and the Association of University Administrators (AUA) in the United Kingdom. Additionally, he has represented the Congregation on the Governing Council of UNIOSUN.
Mr. Olukayode Osinuga has been appointed as the new Bursar, bringing a robust background in accounting and administration. He holds a B.Sc in Accounting from Joseph Ayo Babalola University and an M.Sc from Obafemi Awolowo University, complemented by an MBA and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from FUNAAB. A distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate Member of the Nigeria Computer Society, Mr. Osinuga also boasts prior experience as Acting Bursar at FUNAAB and Bursar at the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration in Ondo. Both he and Dr. Adeniyi are set to officially commence their roles on October 10, 2024.
