The National Commission for Persons With Disabilities (NCPWD) has announced its 2nd Scholarship Scheme for undergraduate students with disabilities attending public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
This scholarship aims to support students with disabilities in achieving their educational goals and easing the financial burden of schooling.
Eligibility Criteria for NCPWD Scholarship
To be eligible for the NCPWD Scholarship, applicants must meet specific requirements.
The applicant must be a person with disabilities who is in need of financial assistance.
The applicant must be a registered student of a public tertiary institution in Nigeria.
The applicant must maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5.
Required Documents for Application
Applicants must provide several documents for verification.
- A letter of identification from the local government area (L.G.A.).
- A letter of identification from the Head of Department (H.O.D.).
- A copy of the admission letter from the institution.
The scholarship fund, once awarded, will go directly to the student’s institution to cover tuition fees.
