Scholarship Awards Eligibility

To qualify for the Ekiti State Government Scholarship Award, applicants must meet the following conditions:

Be in their 2nd year or above in their course of study.
Possess a WASSCE/NECO certificate with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in one sitting.
Maintain a minimum CGPA of 4.0 for university students or its equivalent, 3.50 for polytechnics, and 3.50 for NCE students.

For Master’s Degree and Ph.D. candidates, a 2nd Class Upper Division at the undergraduate level is required. Ph.D. applicants must have a distinction in their Master’s Degree. A letter of recommendation from the Head of Department is also necessary.

Physically challenged students in universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and schools of nursing/midwifery are eligible for the Handicapped Scholarship Award.

Part-time and Sandwich students are not eligible for this award.

Bursary Awards Eligibility

All students in undergraduate programmes, polytechnics, colleges of education, and health institutions are eligible for the Ekiti State Government Bursary Award.
