• The Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare was established in June 2021 with recently matriculated 760 pioneer students for the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic session.
• Of this, there were 70 and 90 medical students respectively for the two sessions while there were 30 and 50 dental students respectively for each session. There are on-going discussions for possibility of using the hospital for the clinical training of the University’s students.

The cost of the post utme form is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000).

Candidates Eligible to Buy FUHSA Post UTME Screening Form

To qualify for the screening, candidates MUST meet the following criteria

• JAMB UTME Score Requirements: For MBBS Medicine & Surgery and BDS Dentistry Programs, a minimum score of 220 points in the 2024 JAMB UTME; Other Courses: A minimum score of 150 -170 points in the 2024 JAMB UTME.
• O’ Level Requirements: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at ‘O’ level, including English and Mathematics.
• Subject Combination in UTME: Candidates must have sat for the relevant subject combination in the 2024 UTME.
• Direct Entry (DE) Requirements: DE candidates must have the following in addition to the minimum five (5) O’ level relevant credits:
  • A minimum of 9 points in IJMB or NCE.
  • At least a lower credit in ND/HND.
  • Second Class Lower in a Degree.

Cut-Off Mark

FUHSA Cut-off mark is 150 – 220 and above.

• Pay the Screening Fee: the screening exercise requires a payment of Two Thousand Naira Only (N2,000.00).
