Fountain University’s School of Nursing students get 100% in NMCN exams

Fountain University’s School of Nursing has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence in nursing education, as its second set of nursing students achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate in the National Professional Exam conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

The exam, which took place from November 5 to 8, 2024, saw 65 students from Fountain University sit for the professional licensing examination. Defying national trends, the university’s nursing students achieved a perfect pass rate, surpassing the nationwide average of 88%.

Reacting to the news, the Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof.Olayinka Ramota Karim while expressing her delight noted that the achievement reflects the university’s dedication to academic excellence and tireless efforts of the Faculty members to ensure students receive exceptional training .

“We congratulate our students on this remarkable achievement and are honored that the Nursing and Midwifery Council recognized our facility’s excellence by approving its use for the examination for other University as well. This acknowledgment reinforces our commitment to setting the standard for nursing education in Nigeria,” she added.
