DUI Admission Requirements

The application process for admission into the Dominican University Ibadan requires that all admissions shall be through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Prospective students must meet the following criteria:

Entry into 100 Level (UTME)

To be considered for admission into 100 level, candidates must:

  1. Obtain five (5) credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, at not more than two (2) sittings.
  2. Score a satisfactory mark in UTME in relevant subjects.

Direct Entry Admission into 200 Level

For direct entry admission into 200 level, in addition to the five (5) credit passes in SSCE, a candidate must also:

  1. Hold a General Certificate of Education with pass at ‘A’ level in a minimum of two subjects chosen from a list approved by the Senate from time to time, or
  2. Have a credit level pass in an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or a Merit pass in a National Certificate in Education (NCE) from an approved College or Polytechnic, or
  3. Hold a first degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND) from an approved University or Polytechnic.

Furthermore, all candidates must undergo post-UTME screening and must satisfy the special requirements of the College/Department to which admission is being sought.

  • Jamb Change of Institution (if applicable)
  • Jamb Result Slip (Coloured)
  • SSCE (WAEC / NECO) Results
  • A Passport Photograph (Coloured)
  • Proof of Payment for Online Application form ₦15,000
  • Proof of Payment for Post-UTME screening Excercise ₦2,000
