Requirements for the Chief Medical Director Position
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be medically qualified and registered for at least 12 years.
- Have a postgraduate medical qualification obtained at least 5 years before the date of the advert.
- Be of the Baptist Denomination.
Additionally, you must demonstrate the following:
- High-level managerial experience in a tertiary medical institution.
- Provide evidence of a current practising licence.
- Hold professional and academic achievements respected nationally and internationally.
The right candidate will enhance the hospital’s reputation and attract funding from both local and international communities.
Tenure of Office
The Chief Medical Director will serve a two-year term, starting from the date of appointment.
This term is renewable based on satisfactory performance for an additional term, but no more.
Salary and Allowances
The salary and allowances for this position will follow the approved structure set by the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Bowen University, and the BUTH Management Board.
