The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) recently held a productive session with the Vice Chancellor to address important issues affecting the student community. Part of the discussions included the school fees update.
After careful deliberation, we are happy to inform all students that there will be no increase in school fees for the current session. However, it is important to note that the traditional installment payment option will no longer be available. Students are now expected to pay their full school fees at once. We understand this change may cause some concerns, but be rest assured that the fees structure remains unchanged, and there will be no additional cost for the new academic session.
In another development, the SUG is aware that some students have been facing difficulties with their applications for the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFund). In response, we are organizing a live session where students can ask questions and receive first hand information regarding the application process. The session will provide a platform for students to address specific challenges they are facing. More details on the session date and time will be shared shortly.
We encourage all students to stay informed and actively participate in the upcoming session to ensure a smooth application process for NELFund. As always, the SUG is committed to addressing student concerns and working closely with the school management to enhance the overall student experience.
Thank you for your usual understanding, attention and cooperation.
