The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has announced a further extension of the closing date for the ongoing Post-UTME exercise to 15th October 2024.
According to a statement by the Registrar, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, the extension aims to allow IJMB students who applied through JAMB Direct Entry to obtain their results and participate in the ongoing online screening.
Candidates are advised to note this new deadline, as no further extensions will be granted.

General Criteria
O’ Level Credentials : You must have at least five (5) O’ Level credits in subjects relevant to your desired course, achieved in no more than two sittings.JAMB UTME Scores : A minimum score of 170 is required, but some courses have higher cut-off marks:

Nursing and Radiography: 210
Medical Laboratory Science (MLS): 220
Medicine and Surgery (MBBS): 230
University Preference : FULAFIA must be your first choice.Direct Entry Candidates : Must include both O’ Levels and any higher qualifications.

Application Steps
Initiate Registration : Visit the FULAFIA official portal .Create an Account : Click ‘APPLY’ to set up an account.Select Application Type : Choose ‘Post UTME Application 2024/2025’, enter your JAMB Number, Email, and create a password. Click ‘Proceed’ to go to the LOGIN page.Login : Use your email and password to log in. A unique ID starting with ‘FULUG…’ will be generated. Use this ID to log in.Verify Data : Ensure all details are correct, fill in any missing information, and save.Pay the Screening Fee : Pay ₦2,000 online or at any commercial bank. For online payment, use Remita options like Mastercard, USSD, Internet Banking, and eWallet.Complete Registration : After payment, log in again (if needed) for payment verification.Enter SSCE Details : Provide your SSCE details and scratch card information if required. Save this information.Finalize Application : Print a summary of your application and payment receipts from the portal.

Inconsistency in Names : Ensure names on all documents are the same to avoid disqualification.Age Requirement : Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old by October 2024.Registration Period : Apply within the given period.
