The EIPOD-LinC Fellowship Programme invites applications from experienced researchers worldwide who are passionate about interdisciplinary research. Hosted by EMBL, this competitive programme supports career development in academia, industry, and beyond through mentoring, training, and collaborative research opportunities. Eligibility For 2025 EIPOD-LinC Fellowship Programme

  1. Academic Requirements:
    • Applicants must hold a Ph.D. by February 13, 2025.
    • Candidates who have defended their doctoral thesis but are awaiting degree conferral are eligible.
  2. Mobility Requirements:
    • Open to all nationalities.
    • Prior association with EMBL or a Member State partner is acceptable but must not exceed 12 months within the last three years.

Description For 2025 EIPOD-LinC Fellowship Programme

  • Conduct interdisciplinary research aligned with the “Molecules to Ecosystems” theme.
  • Collaborate with an EMBL host and a partner from academia, industry, or clinics in EMBL Member States.
  • Gain new skills to enhance interdisciplinary research capabilities.
  • Participate in lab visits and interviews during the selection process.
  • Present research accomplishments and project proposals.

How To Apply For 2025 EIPOD-LinC Fellowship Programme

  1. Review the Guide to Applicants (available online in November 2024).
  2. Register for an Information Webinar on November 25, 2024 (10:00–11:00 CET).
  3. Develop an interdisciplinary project proposal using the provided template.
  4. Choose an EMBL host and at least one partner to support your project.
  5. Submit your application via the online platform.
  6. Ensure two references and letters of support from EMBL and MS partners are submitted by February 13, 2025, at 23:59 CEST.
