Announcement of Admission for Nursing Programmes at Kebbi State College of Nursing Sciences

The management of Kebbi State College of Nursing Sciences, Birnin Kebbi, is pleased to announce the commencement of sales for admission forms into its Basic Midwifery and Post Basic Nursing programmes. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of nursing education and meet the growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals in the region.

The sales period for the admission forms will run from Monday, 14th October 2024, to Friday, 22nd November 2024. Prospective candidates can obtain the application PIN after making the requisite payment of N6,500.00 for the Basic Midwifery programme and N10,500.00 for the Post Basic Nursing programme. This fee is a necessary step towards securing a place in these esteemed programmes.

To qualify for the Basic Midwifery programme, applicants must possess five O’level credits, including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, obtained through WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in no more than two sittings. For those applying to the Post Basic Nursing programme, it is essential to be a registered midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN), holding a current practicing license and a minimum of two years of working experience in the field.

Additionally, all candidates must be at least 17 years of age. Completed application forms must be submitted no later than Sunday, 24th November 2024. Following the submission, candidates will be required to participate in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) as part of the admission process.
