UNIMED Admission List – How to Check Your Status

The University of Medical Science in Ondo State (UNIMED) extends a warm welcome to all newly admitted students, encompassing UTME and Direct Entry candidates, for the 2023/2024 academic session. The administrative body of the institution has meticulously outlined the registration procedure intended to guide fresh students through their initial academic processes.

NIMED Fresh Students’ Registration Steps

New students must follow the steps below to ensure the proper start of their academic journey.

Step 1: Check Admission Status

First, visit the UNIMED Admission List Portal to confirm your admission status.

If offered admission, you must accept it to proceed.

Step 2: Print JAMB Admission Letter

After accepting your admission, visit the JAMB CAPS Portal to confirm your admission status.

Once confirmed, print your JAMB Admission Letter.

Step 3: Payment of Acceptance Fee

Proceed to the UNIMED Payment Portal.

Click on ‘Make Payment’ to settle the Acceptance Fee using a VISAVerve, or MASTER Card.

Follow the on-screen instructions carefully.

After a successful payment, generate and print your e-Payment Receipt.

Step 4: Create Account & Fill Registration Forms

Create a student account by selecting ‘Account Creation’ on the portal.

Log in with your new account and fill out all required forms.

Once completed, download and print four copies of the filled forms.

Step 5: Screening at Academic Affairs Office

Take the four printed forms to the Academic Affairs Office for screening.

Also bring:

  • JAMB Admission Letter.
  • Original O’ Level/A’ Level/B.Sc Result.
  • Local Government Attestation Letter.
  • Birth Certificate.
  • Letter of Good Conduct from a Reputable Person.
  • Four passport-sized photographs.
  • Acceptance Fee Payment Receipts.

Step 6: Medical Registration

Once cleared, complete medical registration at the University Health Centre.

Step 7: Pay School and Accommodation Fees

Make payments for School Fees and, if needed, Accommodation Fees for hostel allocation.

Step 8: Course Registration

Log in to your student account.

Complete the Course Registration Form and print four copies once finished.

Step 9: Obtain Endorsements

Submit the Course Registration Form to:

  • Departmental Course Coordinator.
  • Head of the Department.
  • Dean of Faculty.

Each must provide their endorsement on the form.

Step 10: Submit Completed Forms

Lastly, submit the endorsed forms to your Faculty Officer.
