Who Is Eligible for the NLNG PGSS?

This scholarship is tailored for individuals who are:

  • Citizens and residents of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with a commitment to return to Nigeria post-studies.
  • Alumni of public universities in Nigeria, having completed their NYSC programme.
  • Not currently beneficiaries of any other scholarships, bursaries, or grants.
  • Individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence and possess strong leadership qualities.
  • Not direct relatives of staff of Nigeria LNG Limited.

Scholarship Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Have provisional admission from the University of Wolverhampton for courses such as MSc Civil Engineering, MSc Computer Science, among others.
  • Graduate with at least a Second Class Honours (upper division) in a field relevant to their chosen postgraduate course.
  • Have completed the NYSC programme.
  • Achieve a minimum IELTS score of 8.0 or equivalent in other recognised English language tests.
  • Be under 30 years of age at the time of application.
  • Obtain a valid international passport for travel, valid for at least one year from September 2024.
