The Department of Geology in the Franklin College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Georgia (UGA) seeks to recruit one (1) MS student to join Dr. Adam Milewski’s research group (Water Resources & Remote Sensing Laboratory) for Spring 2025.

You will be contributing toward the development of a machine learning model for coastal Georgia to identify and characterize the processes and variables controlling groundwater level fluctuations in a coastal setting.

You will also predict groundwater level fluctuations in the absence of areas with inadequate groundwater level monitoring, and evaluate the predictions using both existing in situ observations and a hydrodynamic model.
