To be eligible for the HND programmes at Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, ensure that:

You possess a National Diploma in the relevant course area.
If your CGPA is 2.5 or above, you must have completed one year of Industrial Training.
If your CGPA is below 2.5, you should have completed two years of Industrial Training.

Follow these steps to apply:

Visit the Polytechnic’s Official Portal.
Under ‘Application forms/Results’, select ‘Online Application Forms’.
Choose your programme, enter your Phone No, and fill out the form. Click ‘sign in’ when done.
An invoice will appear. Print it out.
Visit any local bank with the invoice and pay Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) using the Remita RRR number.
Return to the portal, click ‘Apply Now’, select your application type, enter the Remita RRR, and complete the form.

The screening will take place online.

Prepare the following documents:

Original O’Level certificate or results.
Authentic National Diploma statement from an NBTE accredited institution.
A genuine letter confirming the completion of Industrial Training, matching your CGPA.
