Candidates must hold, or expect to complete in the near future, an internationally recognized Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, and/or Chemistry. Preferred expertise includes:

The successful candidate will:

  • Design and characterize novel catalysts and implement them into nanostructured electrodes within flow cell- and MEA-based reactors.
  • Collaborate with team members and external partners in a multidisciplinary EU-funded project.
  • Utilize ICFO’s state-of-the-art fabrication and characterization facilities at the interface of spectroscopies, electrochemistry, materials science, and chemical engineering.
