Eligibility For 2025 Scholarship in 3D Bioprinting and Tissue Engineering
- Postdoctoral Researcher: Applicants must hold a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience in 3D (bio)printing, hydrogels, cell culture, gene expression, mechanical testing, or histology is advantageous. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
- PhD Students: Applicants must hold a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline. Experience in biomaterials, tissue engineering, 3D (bio)printing, or cell culture is desirable.
Description For 2025 Scholarship in 3D Bioprinting and Tissue Engineering
Successful candidates will join an interdisciplinary team working to overcome the challenges of bioprinting functional tissues. The project aims to develop a bioprinting platform that spatially patterns cellular aggregates or microtissues into personalized, load-bearing grafts. The research will focus on guiding tissue fusion and remodeling into structurally organized tissues for in vitro and in vivo applications. The team will work closely with academic and industrial partners from across Europe and New Zealand.
