As part of the Computational and Soft Matter Physics Subunit within the Experimental Soft Matter Physics (SoMeX) group led by Prof. Roberto Cerbino, you will have the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research and teaching in the area of Soft Matter Physics. Eligibility For 2025 Scholarship At University of Vienna

  • PhD/Doctoral degree in Physics or a related discipline.
  • Proven research competence with international publications in Soft Matter Physics or related fields.
  • Strong experience with microscopy (especially differential dynamic microscopy) and scattering experiments.
  • Expertise in image processing techniques.
  • Didactic skills and teaching experience (e-learning experience is a plus).
  • Excellent proficiency in English (C1), and knowledge of German is welcome.
  • Experience in research project management and leading project teams is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
