OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center is seeking a dedicated and motivated full-time postdoctoral candidate to join Dr. Vishal Chandra’s lab. This research group, in collaboration with Dr. Doris Benbrook, Dr. Rajani Rai, and Dr. Bethany Hannafon, focuses on developing chemo-preventative and treatment strategies for gynecological cancers, assessing novel anti-cancer agents, and exploring drug repurposing to increase therapeutic efficacy with reduced toxicity.

- Ph.D. in biological sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a relevant field.
- Strong research background in cellular and molecular biology, cancer biology, or immunology.

The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing research projects aimed at understanding the role of obesity, oncogenic signaling, cellular metabolism alterations, and tumor immune microenvironment in gynecological cancer development and progression. This position offers access to core technology facilities including imaging, flow cytometry, and genomic/proteomic analysis. Candidates should be self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and within a team. Responsibilities include conducting experiments, analyzing data, writing scientific papers and grant applications, and mentoring students. Fellows will also have opportunities for professional development and may apply for travel awards to attend national and international meetings.
