Eligibility For 2024 Scholarship in Organic Synthesis At University of Murcia
- PhD (or near completion) in Chemistry
- Strong background in homogeneous catalysis, organic chemistry, or organometallic chemistry
- Experience in reaction optimization, organic synthesis, inert atmosphere techniques, or DFT calculations is preferred
- Problem-solving skills, independence, creativity, and a willingness to learn
- Good command of English (writing and speaking)
- Only European candidates are eligible due to the urgency of the incorporation date
Description For 2024 Scholarship in Organic Synthesis At University of Murcia
The successful candidate will:
- Design and develop catalytic methodologies for organic synthesis
- Perform mechanistic studies using various techniques
- Synthesize organic substrates, products, inorganic complexes, and ligands
- Prepare reports, scientific manuscripts, and participate in literature searches
- Mentor PhD and MSc students and collaborate with academic and industrial partners
- Present research at scientific meetings and conferences
